Take your dog to the movies!
Ready to take your dog to the movies? Join us on April 21st at the West Columbia Amphitheater (121 Alexander Street) for an afternoon of activities with your dog(s). Bring friends and family, and of course your canine companions, for a fun-filled afternoon that winds up with a movie on man's best friend. Best of all, you'll get to watch the movie outside in West Columbia's outdoor amphitheater. All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Activities will include:
- Live music from the Rock Salvage Band
- A movie!
- Low cost microchipping clinic
- Cool dog demos
- Food and fun!
Come on out for a night at the movies!
April 21st, music begins at 6pm, movie at 8pm!
Movie tickets cost $5 per person, kids under 12 free! Dogs are not only welcome, they're encouraged! All dogs must be on leash.
Come meet Rocky!
You've heard about him... you've seen the images... now come meet him. Yeah, Rocky is going to make his debut at DogFest. It wasn't long ago when this jovial dog was alone and hungry. Now, he does things like stand in front of 75 clapping, armed, darkly dressed police officers like it's nothing!
The HSPCA is nearly 2,000 surgeries and 350 cruelty complaints into the year, and everyday Rocky helps us define what we do. Come see him... we think you'll agree that he's one of the most amazing dogs you'll ever meet.
Help the Humane Society
I've been working with the HSPCA for 10 months now and I have to say, we are doing more than we ever have. We're nearly 2,000 surgeries into the year and we're not stopping there. We have two full-time vets and the best technical staff around... but we need your support. We've kept our prices low, largely subsidized by donations from generous supporters.
Well, we need more support. Not because we're happy where we are. No... it's where we're going that is important. We're on par to perform close to 8,000 surgeries this year. I want to hit 10,000. For nearly 15 years, the HSPCA has provided low cost spay/neuter without a penny of public money. We've accomplished this because we have a very capable, dedicated staff and because of the continued support from generous donors.
Help us make a difference... consider a donation to the Humane Society.
