Ready for the New Year?

Halloween and Thanksgiving are past, and before you know it, it will be the first of the year.  Most individuals dealing with feral and stray cats are beginning to hunker down for the winter, maintaining area colonies by ensuring an adequate supply of food, water and suitable shelter.  At Urban Cats, it's an exciting time...

We've been busy setting up for a strong year in 2008.  We're near completion of an online database designed to track feral cat colonies, our web site continues to grow and will soon have additional resources available.  What's next?  Oh yeah!  We went ahead and paid tribute to Mary Denis Cauthen and her consistent efforts to help animals in our region by naming the Urban Cats fund in her honor.  All contributions will be used exclusively for Urban Cats and for the humane treatment of our area's stray and feral cat population.
