Help the Humane Society Save Lives

The Humane Society is in need of individuals who are willing to foster animals we acquire in cruelty and abuse cases.

Because the Humane Society doesn’t run a shelter, often we have to board animals found in abuse/neglect situations at local boarding facilities and veterinary offices. While this is costly, it is also makes it more challenging to socialize the animal. Animals thrive much quicker by being around people in a normal home environment. The benefits of fostering vs. boarding include having a more adoptable pet when the time comes to find their forever homes.

The Humane Society needs to build a foster network to accommodate such pets. If you are interested in becoming a foster parent or know someone who would, be please contact the Humane Society at 783-1267. Potential fosters will need to fill out a simple application and then will be put on a foster list.

Please help us give deserving animals a second chance!
