An Angel Among Us

The HSPCA is proud to announce the development of a new project designed to aid pets in need of immediate medical attention and whose caretakers may be unable to provide for.  We call it the Angel Fund. 

While we recognize that not every person and every pet can be helped under this fund, we're striving to help pets and pet owners in immediate need.  How does it work?  Simple, really.  The Angel Fund relies on the altruism of vets and the goodness of animal caretakers seeking to aid a pet in need.  All we do is try to raise the funds to help pay for the medical expenses.  Want to read more about the Angel Fund?  Check it out on our website...

Adoption Resource Comes to Midlands

Even though the HSPCA doesn't do adoptions, doesn't mean we can't support them!  And, given that we receive lots of phone calls everyday from people seeking pets, we figure we're in a good position to pitch in and help out!  So, we've recently added an adoption resource to our web site.  We call it our Adopt All!

How does it work?  Simple.  The web site aggregates Midlands area pets available for adoption through various groups into one place through which site visitors can browse (click here to read full article).  We've even posted a small module (thanks to Google!) on our website listing the area's shelters!
