Happy Howlidays Promotion

Happy Howlidays Promotion

We're at it again!  It's the holiday season and everyone is looking for a sale.  The HSPCA is offering up some significant savings for spay/neuter surgeries!  Happy Howlidays is a half-price spay/neuter promotion for the month of December!

What better gift to give your pet than the gift of a healthier existence and by eliminating the chance of unwanted litters of puppies and kittens that become so plentiful in the Spring? By spay/neutering your pet now, you also avoid your pet’s next heat cycle, making their surgery less complicated and your life less stressful.  Want more information?  Check it out!

Pet Soup! Has Huge 1st Month Success!

Pet Soup! Has Huge 1st Month Success!

The Humane Society launched Pet Soup in early November in conjunction with Harvest Hope Food Bank. A pet food supplement program offered to Harvest Hope clients, Pet Soup’s purpose is to keep pets in loving homes by lifting the financial burden of the cost of providing food.

In our inaugural month, the Humane Society was able to serve over 250 clients, supply hundreds of pounds of food, and help provide education on pet care and the importance of spay/neutering. Diamond Pet Foods became our signature partner, supplying the Humane Society with literally thousands of pounds of high quality pet food. We are grateful to them in helping make Pet Soup a huge success!

The HSPCA plans to continue the Pet Soup project as long as the need exists and donations are available to meet those needs.

A Big THANK YOU to the Animal Mission!

A Big THANK YOU to the Animal Mission!

As we review the accomplishments for the last year, the HSPCA Board, Staff and Volunteers want to pause and express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Animal Mission for all they do to help end animal abuse and over population. This year the HSPCA will spay/neuter over 9,000 pets. We could not have accomplished this without the help of many partners, most especially, the Animal Mission. Thank you for all your help. We look forward to partnering with you even more closely in the coming year as we work together to end overpopulation and euthanization.
